This Warehouse conversion gives a once industrial and incomplete space the key elements to transform it into a captivating and visually stunning yet refined family home. Whist being respectful of the original charm, designers Hare + Klein had a vision of comfort and simplicity; choosing to maintain beautiful elements like exposed brickwork, cantilevering steel beams, original fire sprinklers and shipping container.
The 1920’s furniture factory had previously had been converted to a home, however had since dated and wasn’t suitable to the needs of the client raising a small family. The layout went from complete open living to a 3 bedroom home with an additional stairwell, entirely new powder room along with a complete facelift to the Kitchen, Dining room, Bath sanctuary and Living area
Overall, while the project was challenging- it rewarding in all respects. The creativity, consideration and innovation over the 7-month span is an experience that can be appreciated not only by all involved in the build, but by anyone who enters the new space.
